First Piece of Evidence
The first piece of evidence I chose to reflect the eight teacher regulation branch standard is a photo from the Vancouver Island University student ambassador program.

Reflection
I chose this photo to reflect my ability to met standard eight, Educators contribute to the profession. This photo is a short bio Vancouver Island University will use to introduce me as a student ambassador on their online page. As a student ambassador I encouraged and supported new V.I.U. students. I did this by offering my experience and expertise through video advice pieces, university tours, orientation, and phone calls. I feel my role as a student ambassador reflects the the teacher regulation branch standard eight. I am certain I can continue to use these skills as an educator to "support, mentor or encourage other educators and those preparing to enter the profession [and to] contribute [my] expertise to activities offered by their schools, districts, professional organizations, post-secondary institutions or contribute in other ways." As a teacher I will continue to embrace opportunity to teach and learn.
Second Piece of Evidence

Reflection
I chose this Prezi to reflect my ability to meet teaching standard, educators contribute to the profession. I created this Prezi to present to my colleagues in my fourth year of the bachelor of education program, after attending conferences and researching the topic. Teaching is an exciting career partly because there is always more to learn, both in content and methods. As a new teacher I will look for opportunities where I can support or be supported and encourage or be encouraged.

My Wiki Page
Reflection
This wiki page is an artifact of the BCCT standard number eight. This wiki page is a website dedicated to sharing lesson plans and ideas. Others who visit the page can share edit or print the sites documents. During the process of creating this artifact I learned how to create a Wiki page and I also learned about other collaborative websites, such as Google docs and prezi. As a beginning teacher this will give me an opportunity to share my lesson plans, get feedback from peers and possibly get lessons from other teachers.
