Reflection
This online presentation is evidence of how I met the BCCT standard number six. I made this presentation with a group of peers and presented to a class. During the process of creating this presentation I learned many strategies and challenges in teaching English as a second language. With my experience in French immersion, university French courses, and my French immersion practicum I feel I can relate with some empathy the difficulties of learning another language. As a teacher I will encounter students will E.S.L. needs and it is important I know how to help these students.
Second Piece of Evidence
The second piece of evidence I chose to reflect the sixth teacher regulation branch standard is a practicum report. View a scanned copy of the report in the photo below or download the file.

Reflection
I chose a practicum report to show how I meet standard six, educators have a broad knowledge base and understand the subject areas they teach. This is an observation of two lessons I taught during my fifth year practicum. The practicum was in a grade seven classroom. The first lesson is a french lesson, the second is a science lesson. I chose this report because it shows my knowledge of content and my ability to teach these two subjects effectively.
